Boxer & Miniature Dachshund Puppies for Sale in Pennsylvania

Ibar Canine Companions is a family-run program in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. Ivan and Barbie Fisher raise Boxer and Miniature Dachshund puppies inside their home — with daily handling — alongside their six children, and they keep to one or two litters at a time so every puppy gets real attention before going home.

Because the program stays small, there are only ever a few litters a year. If nothing above is the right match today, that is normal, and the waitlist is the way in. It costs nothing to join, and we will tell you honestly where you stand rather than leaving you guessing.

What comes home with your puppy

Every puppy leaves us with the same package, whichever breed you choose:

  • A veterinary exam and health certificate, age-appropriate vaccinations and a completed deworming protocol
  • A 30-day Peace of Mind health guarantee, plus a 2-year genetic health guarantee based on parent DNA and OFA testing
  • One month of free Trupanion pet insurance, activated when your puppy comes home
  • Microchip registration
  • A puppy starter kit and a blanket carrying their litter's scent, so the first night at home is easier
  • Lifetime breeder support — we stay reachable long after go-home day

How the deposit works

A $600 deposit reserves your place on the priority waitlist and is applied toward your puppy's price. It is fully refundable within a 48-hour window, and you can transfer it to a different puppy or to an upcoming litter if your plans change. Each puppy's price is shown on that puppy's own page.

When puppies go home

Our puppies go home when they are ready to go. By then they have been through Early Neurological Stimulation from their first days, weeks of daily handling and socialization, and the beginnings of crate, potty and leash training. That extra time with us is deliberate — it is the difference between a puppy who settles into a new home and one who struggles.

Which breed suits your family

Boxers are affectionate, loyal and protective family dogs. Most adults weigh between 50 and 80 pounds, stand roughly 21.5 to 25 inches tall, live 10 to 12 years, and do best with 60 to 90 minutes of activity a day. Miniature Dachshunds are small companions with large personalities — usually 11 pounds or less, 5 to 7 inches tall, with a 12 to 16 year lifespan and a need for closer to 30 to 45 minutes of daily exercise.

Health testing and standards

Both parents complete health screening before a litter is planned, and dam and sire pairings are chosen deliberately rather than by convenience. Ibar Canine Companions is certified through the Responsible Dog Breeder Network and committed to the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. standards for health, education and responsible breeding.

Visiting, and families further away

Visits are welcome by appointment once we have had a chance to connect, and we are glad to meet over FaceTime first if that is easier. For out-of-area families we can talk through delivery or a mid-way meetup, along with any additional cost for your location. Call or text 717-844-9963, or email puppysales@ibarcaninecompanions.com.
