I Purchased a mini dachshund from Ibar Canine Companions and I truly could not be more impressed with the cleanliness, dedication and organization of his place. The care Ivan (the owner) gives these puppies is evident through their excellent health both physically and mentally. I highly recommend Ibar Canine Companions.
Got a lot of knowledge and very good with the dogs
We adopted our Kendall (now Reggie) almost a week ago. He’s adapted so quick and is already sleeping through the night! Had his vet visit and was deemed very healthy and drew the attention of the whole staff. He’s going to be a spoiled pup.
I adopted a male brindle boxer - Gregory (now Oliver) from Ibar Canine Companions in October 2025. Oliver is now nearly 5 months old and I’m so happy that I adopted him. The entire process was seamless - great communication, photo updates, easy pickup and he came with his crate. All medical details were provided and communicated. Ivan followed up to check on Oliver 2-3 times after I adopted, to make sure everything was still good. That was an extra touch that I appreciated which a lot of breeders overlook.
Ivan and Barbie were absolutely wonderful and made the decision to add two of their miniature dachshund puppies to our family as smooth a transition as it could be. They answered all of my questions with patience and stood out among other options. When we were ready to take the puppies home, they provided us with a crate, a leash, and puppy food for them both. If you are looking for a responsible, reliable, and truly caring place for your next puppy I highly recommend IBAR Canine Companions.
I adopted Carson (now Moose) around 9 months ago, and let me tell you they have been the best 9 months! When I saw him I knew he was the perfect pup for me and my family. Leading up to him coming home I was able to visit him and play for a bit so I could experience him as a baby! Communication was super easy and helpful when wanting to know any and all information! I regret NOTHING! Getting him couldn't have gone better!
We recently purchased Viki and we were quite happy with the experience. The breeder was very friendly and caring. We were provided with a collar, leash, crate (large size), probiotic, and a medium sized bag of food with the purchase of Viki. Not only were we surprised by all the extras, they also sent home a little blanket with scents from her mom and litter mates to help with the transition. Viki was recently seen by our vet and received a perfect bill of health. She is a very happy and energetic puppy and we highly recommend Iber Companions for your next puppy purchase. Updated: 8/4/24. We adopted Wendy, now Dolli on 3/8/2025. I cannot say enough about our great experience with Ivan. He and Claudia answered so many questions and knew our story with our previous boxers. Dolli is loving, smart and a typical boxer who loves everyone she's met. We take her camping, and she loves car rides and golf cart rides! If you're considering a boxer you will not go wrong with IBAR Canine Companions! I highly recommend them!
Bella renamed (Bailey) is a dream. She was handled with care since being with her litter mates and has continued showing her love and affection with everyone she meets. She is so gentle. Ivan and Claudia have been spectacular with answering all questions
We adopted Willy now Ollie in Jan2025, after the loss of our beloved Bruce a boxer at 14 we were heartbroken. Ivan was great, Ollie is now our baby and we can’t be more in love with him. If you are thinking about adopting a boxer, I 100% refer Ivan.
Our family adopted Banks (boxer) a week ago. Ivan, Barbie, their family and Claudia were wonderful to work with. We met Banks when he was 2 weeks old, we went back for another visit when he was 5 weeks and finally brought him home at 8 weeks. Ivan and Claudia were very accommodating and welcomed us to visit anytime. They kept us updated after Vet checkups. Banks has been a great addition to our family. Our 4-year-old boxer loves him as much as we do. I would highly recommend Ibar Canine.
We adopted (Wrigley) now re-named Brew, 7 days ago. He is an amazing, smart, loving boxer. At 9 weeks he is pretty well potty trained, goes outside or on the training pads. He acknowledges his name, and is doing well on the leash. The adoption process was seamless. All information and care of Brew was explained at the time of our adoption process. I also received a follow up call to ask how everything was going with Brew and if I had any questions. I would highly recommend IBar for anyone looking for adopting an amazing boxer companion.
We adopted Suzy 10 days ago. She is 8 months old and is a wonderful pup. She is doing well with house training, lease walking off lease walking and basic commands. Smart beautiful pup with an excellent disposition. I can actually walk with her off lease and she will come when called and stay within several feet of me. Ivan was a pleasure to meet and spend time with. I got to meet Suzy’s parents and siblings which was nice. What really sold us was the health checks they do which is important to us having just lost a beloved Boxer suddenly at 7 years old from heart issues. They also remove the DewClaws which is the sign of a good breeder. Ivan gave us a collar, lease and grate plus plenty of wet and dry food to get us started. All in all a great experience. I recently purchased a pup from Ivan and Barbie and I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was. First dealing with wonderful Claudia, who answered my many questions (and recommended the BEST campground for me to stay in!), and then meeting Ivan and Barbie and their beautiful family. Upfront, transparent, good, honest people. My puppy, Gibbs (he was Viper at birth), is everything you’d want in a dog. He is loving, inquisitive, cuddly, smart, very funny, and will grow up to be a very loyal part of the family. More important, healthy and well taken care of, responsibly raised and whelped properly. I travelled from Canada to pick him up on my way to Florida for the winter with a 10 year old boxer and a cat already in tow. If you are considering buying a boxer pup, do what I did, and travel the extra miles to buy from IBar Canine Companions. Thank you Ivan, Barbie, Claudia, and the kids. You all are forever etched in my heart, and now part of my extended family!
So good in the crate and made training overall very easy.
